We are excited to announce the latest updates to the HRManagement simulation interface. These enhancements are designed to improve readability, accessibility, and overall user experience.

Accessibility and Usability

  • Meeting WCAG AA standards to ensure equitable access for all users.
  • Conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) ensures essential accessibility while balancing design and usability.
  • The layout adapts to various screen sizes, from tablets to large monitors.

Redesigned Simulation Interface

  • Modern and Customizable Appearance: New dark mode option available & customize your experience through settings under the user menu in the upper left corner of the page.
  • Easy Onboarding Experience: A new onboarding page handles simulation/case presentation, start-up decisions, and follow-up steps.

Enhanced Navigation and Search

  • Streamlined Navigation: Simulation navigation has been grouped and streamlined to reduce the amount of interaction needed, enhancing user experience.
  • Searchable Interface: Use the magnifying glass icon at the top of the page to search for reports, glossary terms, and more.

New Added Incidents

To provide students with realistic HR challenges.

  • Incident 26: Job Evaluation for Pay Equity
  • Incident 27: Employee Selection Process

Updated Reports

  • Company Comparison report for instructors, located under the “Simulation” menu. The report shows the final decisions students have made in each period. The decisions can be viewed by company or category.
  • More detail added to the Decisions / Budget Analysis page. A new graph has been added too.
