Updated Scenarios

We’ve updated both the country data and the scenarios, with more relevant and realistic data. We’ve also changed the country list for Latin America’s scenario by dropping Venezuela. Additionally, we’ve introduced “disruptive events” for Asia which were only available for Latin America originally. Also, tariffs may now change over the course of the simulation.

Interface redesign

CountryManager now has a fresh, intuitive interface, easier to navigate. In particular, choosing and editing SKUs and Advertising has been completely streamlined. CountryManager has numerous reports and important data and we’ve worked hard to make those more accessible to students.

BEI for each country

Students can access a more detailed Brand Equity Index (BEI) report. BEI has been given its own report under the Company menu with the breakdown of its calculation and the change from the prior year. Additionally, students can get more detailed information about the measures used.

Executive Dashboard

The Executive Dashboard now shows more measures than the dashboard did before and graphically displays the data for further analysis. As teams click on a measure, they can see more detail about its calculation. The executive dashboard can also be modified and customized for each user’s view, giving them control over which measures they want to track.

Reports

Many reports have been streamlined. One example of this is the cost structure report which now includes two other reports that are important for plant location and pricing decisions – tariffs and shipping
