Let’s talk about using sims well
We’ve been publishing simulations since 1986 and along the way, we’ve seen thousands of ways our simulations have been used to effectively teach business principles!
That’s the reason for this blog.
Because of the pandemic, many instructors had to move their courses online and have turned to simulations to help them with that (we’re grateful!). They want to know the best way to use the simulations we produce.
So we’d like to share some of these ideas, both from our customers and our staff, to help you learn about using our sims more effectively. Once a week, we’ll share the voices we talk to every day, their thoughts, practices, as well as strategies for ensuring that students get the most out of their sim experience. This will be a mixture of students, staff, and instructors. We also plan to talk to the authors of our sims to get their insights into how and why the sims were created in the first place. All in all, it should provide a lot of useful information.
